So let us start with the new “Amazing Spider-Man” run is trash. The question “Who is Paul?” being the the number one asked question. Spider-Man is the most selling comic book character, and the highest grossing. So with just that information we can say the he means a lot to many of us. Many including myself felt so betrayed by the recent run. So I was hesitant with the new “Ultimate Spider-Man”, but I gave it a try.

Um let us say MIND BLOWING, it is one of my favorites from issue one. Let me sell you on it. This is an alternate time line where Peter does not have his powers… yet.

Not knowing that he became a hero in an alternate time line he learns of the spider that was supposed to have bitten him. Peter is given the chance to be bitten by the spider or stay himself powerless.

Only up to issue 2 is out but I’m fully invested in it. It is amazing to see adult Peter take chances and learn how to be a hero and what it means. I am loving it. On the recommendation scale it is HIGHLY recommended.
